1. Introduction

As part of our ongoing commitment to humanitarian service, /organized a food and soft drink distribution drive for underprivileged individuals . The initiative aimed to provide immediate relief to daily wage workers, and those struggling with food insecurity.

2. Objectives

  • To ensure that underprivileged individuals receive a nutritious meal and hydration, especially during the summer/peak hardship time.

  • To spread compassion, kindness, and community responsibility.

  • To raise awareness and inspire more individuals to join hands in serving humanity.

3. Distribution Details

  • Date of Distribution: 26TH May 2025

  • Time: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

  • Location: Alambhag and Rajajipram Lucknow

  • Target Group: daily wage laborers, roadside vendors, etc.

4. Items Distributed

  • Cooked Meals: Rice with mixed vegetables / Poori-Sabji .

  • Soft Drinks / Beverages: Packaged fruit drinks 

  • Other Items :  water bottles

5. Total Beneficiaries

Approximately 50 individuals were served nutritious meals and refreshing drinks.

6. Volunteer Involvement

  • A team of  volunteers coordinated the preparation, packing, transport, and distribution of food.

  • All safety and hygiene standards were strictly followed during cooking and serving.

  • Distribution was conducted in an orderly and respectful manner.

7. Community Response

  • Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely help.

  • Local residents appreciated the efforts and a few even contributed on the spot with donations and water packs.

  • Several individuals expressed interest in joining similar drives in the future.

8. Challenges Faced

  • Managing distribution in high-traffic areas required coordination and security.

  • Weather conditions posed minor delays, but the team managed effectively.

  • Ensuring adequate quantity as turnout exceeded expectations.

Empowering Women, One Pad at a Time! Ardhnarishwar Jankalyan Foundation recently organized a "Sanitary Napkin Distribution Drive." along with an "Awareness Session on Menstrual Hygiene" for women and young girls in " Sector 6, Behind Mini Stadium, Rajaji Puram, Lucknow". We discussed: - The importance of menstrual hygiene   - Safe practices to prevent infections   - Breaking the stigma around periods   - Encouragement to seek medical help when needed Sanitary kits were distributed to all attendees, and the response was heartwarming!
