  When Flames Took Everything: A Ground Report from Vikas Nagar, Lucknow On 15th April 2026, a massive fire broke out in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow—leaving behind destruction that words can barely capture. Within hours, homes turned into ashes, memories vanished, and entire families were left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. For many, it wasn’t just about losing shelter. Some children suffered burns, and the cries of families echoed through what was once their home. In a single night, everything they had built over years was gone. We reached the affected area. Basic food items were distributed among people who struggle to get proper meals on a daily basis. These items were chosen to ensure that they are easy to consume and provide immediate relief from hunger.   A Small Step Towards Compassion: Providing Water for Voiceless Lives Place - Rajaji Puram, Lucknow Driven by compassion and a sense of responsibility, our organization Ardhnarishwar JanKalyan Foundation collaborated with Water for Voiceless NGO to carry out a meaningful initiative in Rajajipuram, Lucknow  on the occasion of   World Water Day .    Pawprints Foundation also actively supported this effort. Under this initiative, Water for Voiceless NGO provided water bowls , and with the support of Pawprints Foundation, these bowls were placed at various locations across the area. Large water bowls were kept outside homes so that stray animals like dogs, cows, and other animals could easily access drinking water. At the same time, smaller bowls were placed on rooftops to ensure that birds also get water, especially during the hot weather.
