Purpose of the Activity:

The purpose of this activity was to provide food and care to stray and street dogs, including paralyzed, injured, and acid attack survivor dogs, while promoting kindness and awareness for animal welfare in society.

Activity Details:

  • Total Dogs Fed: 60

  • Special-Needs Dogs Included:

    • Some paralyzed dogs (accident or birth-related conditions)

    • Some acid attack survivors (rescued and undergoing care)

    • Other dogs with minor wounds, skin infections, and old-age-related issues

  • Food Provided:

    • Boiled rice, egg and chicken

    • Clean drinking water

  • Care Measures:

    • Soft food given to injured and weak dogs

    • Feeding was done in clean and open spaces with the help of volunteers

Impact & Community Response:

  • The dogs responded happily and peacefully to the food

  • Many injured or disabled dogs were able to eat comfortably

  • Local community members appreciated the effort

  • Children and youth volunteers showed interest in helping regularly

Empowering Women, One Pad at a Time! Ardhnarishwar Jankalyan Foundation recently organized a "Sanitary Napkin Distribution Drive." along with an "Awareness Session on Menstrual Hygiene" for women and young girls in " Sector 6, Behind Mini Stadium, Rajaji Puram, Lucknow". We discussed: - The importance of menstrual hygiene   - Safe practices to prevent infections   - Breaking the stigma around periods   - Encouragement to seek medical help when needed Sanitary kits were distributed to all attendees, and the response was heartwarming!
