(WEEK-31) Water Bowl Initiative in Rajaji Puram

Water Bowl Initiative in Rajaji Puram

On 6 July, our NGO undertook a small community welfare initiative in Rajaji Puram, Lucknow, by placing water bowls at suitable locations for stray animals.

As an organization working towards human welfare and community welfare, we believe that compassion and responsible care extend to all living beings around us. During the summer months, stray animals often struggle to find clean drinking water, particularly in urban areas.

Through this initiative, water bowls were placed at accessible locations so that stray animals could easily find drinking water.

We also encouraged people in the locality to keep the bowls clean and refill them with fresh water regularly.

A Small Step Towards Compassion

Community welfare is not limited to one particular form of service. Small acts of kindness and responsible action can contribute to creating a more caring and compassionate society.

This initiative was our humble effort to provide relief to animals during the hot weather and to encourage people to show care towards the living beings around them.

A little care can make a meaningful difference.

With no proper shelter, warm clothing, or protection, surviving winter becomes a daily challenge for them. Understanding this harsh reality, our NGO organized a winter blanket distribution drive to support people who are most vulnerable to the cold. Reaching Out to Those in Need During this winter season, our team reached out to people living on streets, footpaths, and open areas. These included daily wage workers, elderly individuals, and families who had no access to basic winter necessities. Each interaction reminded us that cold weather affects not only the body, but also dignity and hope. Many people were seen trying to protect themselves from the cold with thin clothes, newspapers, or torn sheets—qui...
